- The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has determined that contract brewers of Ontario can't sell at beer fests. And have apparently only told ONE CONTRACT BREWER. Reason: to "ensure that the sale and service of alcohol at special events is conducted in a safe and socially responsible manner" - without showing ANY CONNECTION to contract brewers. iNsAnE.

- Somewhere I have a court ruling from our time in the 1920s of almost prohibition where a court of appeal accepted the personal use argument after a fisherman complained his private stash of over 100 cases of whisky had been stolen. No one ever gets to play that card every agin. Sorry.
- Don't get me wrong. You all should be buying the books I have been writing but you should really be buying this book by Boak and Bailey. I am all a giggle, giddy as a schoolboy in my expectations. I pre-ordered before they came up with the idea to write a book. I really did.
