This came in the mail. Or, rather, a 12 x 12 x 18 inch box brought by courier that included an interior unnecessary wooden box with one bottle and a couple of these snifters. Half the packaging is being used by the six year old for crafts. The beer pours a blushing deep apricot. Good pillowy white head sustained by active carbonation. On the nose a decent true cherry aroma with grainy grassy wheatiness. In the mouth more along the same lines and quite pleasantly so. A fair ways south of lambic but still lightly tart. Lots of light complex berry lavours framed by the grassy malt and maybe their triple yeast in a 5.5% package. Quite respectable. I like.
Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.
Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."
Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."
