Remember I mentioned there was a super surprise awaiting you all or at least the all you all who are going to Beau's Oktoberfest 2012? Well, it's Ron. He's being flown in from the lands of the Euro to sit in an eastern Ontario county fairground for three days in early autumn as sort of a performance artist in residence. Along with Dick Cantwell of Elysian Brewing and Anders Kissmeyer of Nørrebro Bryghus fame, Ron is appearing nightly at the festival's beer school as well as wandering around the site, beer in hand, with a shocked look on his face from the realization that, yes, there is in fact no public transport to the next town.
I can't wait to see him watching Walter Ostanek. So, come to the fair. Meet Ron and listen to him recount how he changed the course of beer culture forever. Or something like that.

It's not a proper fair unless you can throw balls at a target to drop him into a tank of water.
