A Good Beer Blog

Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.

Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."

Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."

If you're heading toward Potsdam, the IGA (according to the 10/14 pic on FB) has stuff from Mission, out of San Diego. We're just starting to get it around here, and I've heard it's pretty good. It might be worth that disproportionate seven cents.

I met Ralph and son a few times at GBBF this year and in craft beer co, very generous and friendly people

Ps do you have any way to subscribe to post comments on your blog? I always forget to check back!

First, never heard of that phenomenon - can't believe there is too much going on to have a beer. Nope, can't.

Second, had a great beer sampling of ten interesting beers at the Hops Spot Friday night. Ryan should be able to forward you that list if you are interested.

Third, I think you said you've been to Bear World. Seems their selections keep expanding. So will it be Potsdam or H2OTown for your beer run?

I may stay over a bit for a HS football game, even, but that is contingent on this cold. I sound like an anti-smoking ad today and I don't smoke.

Sometime life rears its ugly head and there's not much you can do... I hope things turn around quickly.

No, that is one step beyond the powers of the blog, Steve.
