A Good Beer Blog

Thanks for the update - it sounds like things are progressing, and as you point out, it's good for beer on the whole (and certainly the vast majority of readers who are not already dyed-in-the-wool enthusiasts or historians won't be bothered by most of this).

I'm looking forward to finally getting the book for Christmas and would be happy to dive in with anything that needs a hand after that. I'd love to eventually see some great beer history digitization projects (that's the archivist in me talking), but this is an excellent starting point for the next edition.

We'll do a letter or two.

It's going slowly because it takes a long time to include all the references to back up the corrections, which need to be there to do it properly. Which is why I've written 1,000 words of corrections so far and only got up to "Al-". And frankly I have many other things that I'd rather be doing.

Yes - but this way it is progressing solidly. I do find the process is helping me understand both the book and the topics better. I am pretty sure I would not have considered "Sumer" as I did without participating in a cross checking process.
