What a dream notation on the bottle:
Three Heads Brewing Company
brewed and bottled by
Custom Brewcrafters Inc.

Truth in labeling. Makes me so much more comfortable knowing where it all comes from. Three Heads is only a few months old but chose to get help from the local experts. Nice move even if its not everyone's path to big time shelf space.
I had their bitter beer, Blimey English-Style Pale Ale, the other week but, while it was very fine it's nowhere near as fine as this. What do I mean? Well, for my money this is the best combination of big hops and big coffee in a beer that I have ever had. The coffee is gritty and strong. Big. Big enough to bear the weight of the raw mint eucalyptus hops for a place standing on the throat of the otherwise reasonably tasty roasty more than malty porter. The label shows exhaustion after delight but this is more like a slappy shoving match right there next to my molars. I have no idea what that means to you but to me that means this is a good beer. Me like.
Big BAer respect.

Three Heads came on strong with their 4 offerings; I think their Skunk Black IPA is wonderful and The Kind IPA is very expressive. Blimy is solid, but it's a fairly unassuming style, so it's hard to hold up to those bolder ones. I actually haven't yet had the Java Sutra, but based on this and my experience with their other beers, I clearly ought to.
