I am thrilled to tell you that Craig took on the challenge of the "Beer In The Shed 2011" Festival. Craig gets the tie for his post "Fourth of July Eve Eve and a shed (Okay, it's a garage)". You know, I once held a contest and no one entered. Not that the other contest was worse or anything but, well, the prize is still around here somewhere.
Which is sorta what I thought was what I would be saying about my thumb as I drove to the ER this evening. Serrated paring knives are evil. Craig will get his gift once I can use the scotch tape thingie again.

Hope the thumb doesn't slow drinking, or blogging.
Once you've done a book signing, or two, where nobody (literally nobody) shows up you particularly appreciate the likes of Craig (whose Session #53 post was top flight).

Aw, Stan, you're making me blush.
Alan I want you to get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluid (wink, wink). Traumatic Thumb Injury, or TTI, is the leading cause of Lonely Hitchhiker Syndrome, or LHS. It's an epidemic that must be stopped.

Two stitches for a nick out of your thumb? And you call yourself Canadian?

Yeah, the stiches hold on his new "thumb." They grafted on his big toe in place of the lost digit.

Oddly, crown caps are too painful to open, let alone flip top cans. Yet caged cork tops pop with ease.
