It's been mad. Work, I mean. How evil that I have to go desk jockey for eight hours when all I want is to post photos of beer from people I will never meet. Evil. Forget about the promised jet pack I never received. I thought the future was about me, me, me. Pure evil.
John Lewington, past victorious, past Champion Royal 2007, of Lowestoft, Suffolk England sent in these fantastic entries:

Dave McCabe of Arnold, Maryland send in this one entry to the left... which if you think about it, he likely could have spread out over a few more shots and Chris Hadden of Portland Maine sent me in this photo to the right but I am having the tampering committee review it before prize award time.
Ed Carson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania sent in the entry to the left, a study of a bar in black and white that triggers thoughts of Ansel Adams... if, you know, he hung out in bars and not Yellowstone... and Matt Caldwell of Toronto, Ontario sent in his entry to the right displaying how beer and physics can interact.
Rick Sellers of Orangevale, California and Pacfic Brew News stepped up and sent in his full five entitlement to beer blog photo contest glory:
That is it for now. More tomorrow. Maybe that prize list update. We have more. But we need more. Give us more, oh prize givers of the world. Give us more.

FYI, Ansel Adams considered a career as a piano player before he became a photographer (who could make that up?). And, even though it was the early 1920s when he was making up his mind and hanging out in Santa Fe he was a popular guy at parties where rumor has it homebrewed beverages were available.

So far I like the one in the first row, top-left the best. It has a cool 1960's pop art-like sensibility, but also conveys the simplicity and immediacy of the beer experience. In addition to that, through depiction of the stacked cases the idea of volume is conveyed - desideratum of the beer experience for many.
