A Good Beer Blog

Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.

Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."

Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."

Stan Hieronymus -

I will be entering. I'd be happy to help drum up entries, although experience tells us eventually you will be overwhelmed. And I will contribute prizes.

Looking at the first entry I'm wondering if I previously submitted this (obviously no snow):

Alan -

I am not against sunny climes but being albino between the freckles I am a little bitter about it.

Jim Reed -

Wow... Looks like a contest that we all better hop into... I'll pass it along!

So I have until Dec 5th? I have five now but maybe I can come with with some betters ones in the mean time.

Jeff Alworth -

Come on man, you just announced it. Some of us are staging our photos. I intend to perch a beer and a plate of food on a dirt pile. It will take some effort and planning. Art, you know. Also, in the next two days I'm visiting four breweries, and something may come of that.

And by the way, this demand for snow is regionalist. You announce yourself as a Canadian. We get no snow here, or very little. Although I suppose I could photoshop in some snow--maybe ringing my dirt pile.
