Here's the thing. I have a vision for the Yule 2009 Beer Blog Photo Contest. Last year we had about 43 prizes and 524 entries. I think we can hit over 100 prizes and maybe 1500 entries. At least. Why not? Why not 200 hundred gifts...or a zillion for that matter. It could happen. Well, it could if we get more help. Last year we had special elves helping in the Portland, Oregon area as well as in Toronto. If there were elves such as these, magic people buzzing about their local scene doing the working in the four corners of the world, I have no doubt that masses of fabulous prizes from fabulous people of the beer going out as awards for fabulous photos could be a dream come true. No doubt whatsoever. Nada.

What do you need to be a Beer Blog Yule 2009 Photo Contest ambassador? Connections to beer people help. But so does a drive to place gifts in the hands of others with no return to yourself. This is all volunteer so, like me, you will get not a penny and you will knock on more doors than those which open for you. Some that don't open will surprise you as will a few of those that do. You may want to take a week or two off work to do a proper job but it is all about the celebration of beer and the photographic arts. And Yule. And stuff. So that's ok.
