A Good Beer Blog

Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.

Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."

Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."

Paul Harrison -

Hi there. Great to see there's another out there with a fine appreciation for N'Ice Chouffe. My first encounter with this fine beer was at d.b.a in New York city. After surveying their fine selection, I had asked them if they had anything in their cellar that I might not have the opportunity to try again. They brought me a 2005 edition (not sure if this is yearly) of which I shared with a table of happy friends.

Then I found it two months ago in Ann Arbor, MI, while travelling and had the luxury of sharing it with my brother and father.

Great beer. Happy times. Happy holidays. Cheers!
