I came across the fact that the anthem of the US of A back then was not The Star Spangled Banner but Hail Columbia. Here is the music. Here are the lyrics. Does anyone know how it sounds when it is sung? I know, I know - follow the euphonium's notes for the melody but it's not quite working in this case.
