A Good Beer Blog

-------

Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.

Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."

Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."

I do not need a code of ethics for my blogging, luckily we in the remote cold North don't bother with such niceties. Look how angry that lady got when I wrote about her interview in US News last week!

Oh look, an alliance of writers that appears not to know where to use an apostrophe.

Is that credibility I smell?

That shot is from a public brewing session at Brasserie Vapeur... Captures the feel of the place well, I think.

It's a beauty, Joe. That man's face through the rising steam is a wonder. Not prejudging or anything.

Apostrophe? We don't need no stinking apostrophe! Besides, the cool bright green jumpsuits and matching caps we are all going to wear on brewery tours sounds just too neato to resist.
