Just saying. I must have mentioned it before but who doesn't need one beer review and an hour of smokin' blues each and every Friday night?

I think that Darcey has taught me more about the blues than just about any rural western Canadian construction draftsman of Metis decent ever has. I don't understand his job, I shake my head at his beloved right-wing province and disagree with almost all of his politics but, beside knowing he'd have my back in a nasty spot, I sure love this site and the music. I don't know what it is about the blues and Canada but living near the trap line (or next to a guy who logs or with a Cape Islander or who blows dust cake hockey hankies for that matter) makes wanting to BBQ in a blizzard sipping good beer make sense. Memphis and the Canadian Shield have something going on and Darcey is working it.

It's the only podcast that matters as far as I'm concerned.
