As a lad, in a state of utter unknowingness, I went to Belgium and drank Jupiler and Guinness. Again, for that I am truly sorry. I also went to the National Gallery and had a look at the Bosches and the Breugels before Jupiler outlets opened.
But for the life of me I can't figure out the name of this one that was sitting around the work room of the house we've moved into. Click on it for a bigger version. There is plenty of good beer information in there as well as maybe some pub games circa 1500 or so. If anyone knows, please post it in the comments so I can go off and find out what those guys were playing in the lower left hand corner.

"Village Kermis With Theater and Procession" by Pieter Bruegel the Younger. See www.codart.nl/exhibitions/details/1091. It's at the Musee Calvet in Avignon.

That was fast. Prize: you get to drink my beer at Christmas. But you do anyway.

Is it not Fair with a Theatrical Performance, 1562 ?
Old Pieter Brueghel The Younger was an okay dude with a brush !
There are worse beers than Jupiler - I've drunk it in Belgium and not ashamed to say it - it was hot, I was thirsty and it slipped down well.

Hi, you've probably worked it out but it is Fair with a theatrical performance. My parents have this in their kitchen! Would be interested to know what games the guys are playing if you managed to work it out.
