The last couple of days I sent out a few emails about my RSS feed for this here blog. Things weren't looking right. A number of times before I've gotten a heads up from a few helpful guys, especially Greg Clow, letting me that things looked wonky when he was updating his beery news feed aggregator and having been in a software company for a while way back when, I'm used to the idea of bug report mutual aid. I got one email back from one of the guys running an aggregator reminding me that, hey, he had job and he would have to look at it later.

I felt like a bit of a dope - of course he was busy. We are so dependent on the beer geeks amongst us who also make all the neat web widgets work. I think sometimes I forget that all that volunteering is work and maybe thankless work. So thanks.
