Gentlemen, we need more stuff

From time to time I send out waves of emails to prospective sponsors, book publishers, brewers with new products and others to help with the future content that will be up here at A Good Beer Blog. It is a frankly a funny experience with reactions ranging from "who the hell are you"" to "can I send you two kegs instead of cash?" But it is more than safe to say that we are both grateful and tickled when someone makes the decision to support our work hobby efforts here by providing free stuff or money to support me and my fellow bloggers. So emailing time is always fun.

But why leave it to those who are known and identifiable from our end? There are 26,000 or more of you now reading 3,300 times a day. You may want to know what you can do, too, in the great cause of beer and beer blogging. If you are in the business and want to join those who quietly (or not so quietly) provide the resources to keep this ship afloat, please contact me at beerblog@gmail.com. We will accept review samples to our authors locations in Europe and North America, we will take cash or cash-like substances for ad space and we will receive review copies of books, beer openers shaped like whatever, t-shirts and CDs of bands with songs about beer. We will come to your beer festival or crawl around your brewery (or find local correspondents who will) and we will tell the world. We'll run a contest as part of it all. And don't worry: it's all...reinvested (yes, that is the word) in the great cause of great beer. Well, except the bit that gets claimed by Revenue Canada and the Norwegian Government.
