A Good Beer Blog

Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.

Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."

Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."

Dave Selden -

Not as awesome as your prize, but just as I pushed submit, your contest came through on my RSS reader, so I thought you might be interested in our mini-contest over on the left coast:

Alan -

That is a good t-shirt. I'd have t-shirts if I wasn't so lazy.

Stonch -

I have only ever heard of the word "gonzo" in the context of pornography, so I think I'd best not enter!

ALan -

I would have thought that would be a strong attribute to bring to the question.

Bill Johnson -

The word "gonzo" brings to mind a feeling of quiet contempt for the system and those who choose to push the rules down our throats. It would be more enjoyable to ease a cool Flying Dog down my gullet and sit back with some of Hunter's works and listen to some hot blues. Sort of keeps the gonzo feeling alive, knowing that I'm doing my part to be anti-establishment.

Alan -

Bill! You have just made the first entry in the Gonzo competition through a description of your performance art piece entitled "Gonzo With Lawn Chair" - excellent.
