A Good Beer Blog

Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.

Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."

Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."

Once again, you come to Toronto and you don't let me know?

You're avoiding me, aren't you? *sigh*

I know bu t This is why I should never go to Weslakia. This was a 4:45 am up, 5:30 train, 9:00 conference, 12:30 lunch, 1:30 conference, 4:30 beer, 5:30 train, 8:10 home sort of day. But it was very good. We should arrange a Saturday night of C'est What, BeerBistro and Volo tour for the Bartowelers and Good Beer Bloggers. I have led small incursions like that into Syracuse and might be led to participate in some sort of mob mentality attack on the great beers of the world.

Have you ever thought of getting together with friends and brewing your own batch of beer? I did it [edited for spam] my honey brown came out tasting great. It came out costing us about $3.50 a six pack. We printed off labels so now we have our own beer. It was a good night out and we plan another type next month, maybe oktoberfest and probably a batch of wine too. At any rate it made for a good time as an alternative to always doing pub crawls.
