A Good Beer Blog

Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.

Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."

Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."

Thanks for the review, I'm visiting Toronto in June and am looking for nice places to eat and more importantly drink. I'm into local beers. Nice blog by the way, I contirbute to something similar here in Wales called Pubs Cymru. Most reviews are in Welsh although some are bilingual (Welsh/English) or have links to English reviews.

I'm visiting Toronto in March and am looking for any good sports bars/pubs that will be showing the Wales v England Rugby Match followed by some good St Patricks Day drinking session. Any tips or ideas for a 28 year old drinking looney?

I did visit this place in the end and can highly recommend the place. As well as the amazing choice of beer (local on tap, others bottled), they serve good food as well. We went on on a Monday night and the place was really busy from around 7pm onwards. They have a special offer on food then and I had a lovely pizza.
