A Good Beer Blog

Have you read The Unbearable Nonsense of Craft Beer - A Rant in Nine Acts by Alan and Max yet? It's out on Kindle as well as Lulu.

Maureen Ogle said this about the book: "... immensely readable, sometimes slightly surreal rumination on beer in general and craft beer in particular. Funny, witty, but most important: Smart. The beer geeks will likely get all cranky about it, but Alan and Max are the masters of cranky..."

Ron Pattinson said: "I'm in a rather odd situation. Because I appear in the book. A fictional version of me. It's a weird feeling."

Donavan -

I looked at this book twice on the shelves (two different bookshops). In both places the retail price for this tome was right at $100 (US). I wasn't inspired by the contents enough to see if an online retailer could offer a discounted price. (I can't imagine them going lower than $70.) History really has to be your cup of beer to pick this one up.

My nerdiness is comprehensive.

Or incomprehensible perhaps? ;)

I get RSC discount; so may have a look at how muchthis costs now and then ask for a Christmas present

Alan -

It's a lovely book. The mid-east archaeological reports alone are worth the price.
